Although we are a young site, our members have been role playing long enough to know a lot of the questions that are asked on sites like these. We figured it'd be best to sort these out before they're asked or as they come. If something is not covered, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member or post a question in the staff room.

About Home & Hearth

• "I Think the Site Would Look Better If...": AWESOME! Suggest it via PM to an admin or publicly in the Suggestion Box so we can collaborate on it! If you're a coder and would like to do some custom codes for the site, talk directly to the admin!

About Characters

• "Can I Make a Homosexual Character?": ABSOLUTELY! We have a policy NOT TO DISCRIMINATE. As homosexuality has been found in  over 400 species of animal, it is only expected to crop up some time in the forum. We keep things natural. If you can prove it exists in the real world, it can happen here. As always with proboards, (and this goes for any sexuality) there is to be no public role play of sexual activities. Keep all those naughty interactions private.

• "You Mean We Can Make Pups Through PMs?": Proboards explicitly prohibits any and all forms of "R" rated material on their websites, including PMs. Interactions that happen between two characters in secret may be added to those characters' histories. However, cubs must be staff-approved. Furthermore, the graphic nature of both cub making and birthing may be too much for some members. If one party does not wish to RP these situations, please be respectful of their stance. If the one wishing to RP through other IM servers is persistent after being asked not to continue, they will be banned immediately upon request. If you are being harassed by anyone wishing to RP these scenes, please do not hesitate to bring it to the attention of a staff member. All that is required is screen shots of the entire conversation.

About Role Playing

• "I Have a Really Good Plot Idea!": GREAT! Suggest it via PM to an admin or publicly in the Drawing Board so we can collaborate on it! We love getting new ideas and the more input we have, the better this site will become!

• "I Didn't See a Minimum Word Count?": NOPE, you sure didn't. This is a literate site, meaning the amount of words for each role play post should be in the general 300-500 count. We don't expect constant novels, but we do expect to see effort put into each post. I myself try to make it at least three to five FULL paragraphs long. Not too long, not too short, and no need to worry about exactly how many words I have. To each their own as far as how they'd like to (or not to) count their words. However, if we notice or get too many complaints about someone's short posts, we may be forced to implement an exact number.

About Profiles

• "I Have a REALLY Pretty Picture for My Siggy/Avi!": PLEASE make sure your siggy is no more than 450 pixels wide and 200 pixels long. WE LOVE ART, but it becomes hard to read role plays with so many images. Also, it is preferred that you don't have moving GIFs, though they are not banned. Some people have a slow internet connection and the animations make them slower. Please be considerate.
