The Wilderness
Certainly not all of the world, but our little piece of it. The locals here are diverse and generally friendly, though some are more guarded than others. Loose prides are as strict a hierarchy as it gets around here, but there's a change in the wind. Something new is coming, tougher times ahead. Some are wondering if life alone or mostly alone will be the best way to survive these coming years. With the land as diverse as they are, most cats tend to migrate toward the territory that suits their skills the best.
The Tundra
The land furthest north is a vast, undeterminable landscape of white snow almost all year round. Though the snow is usually thick enough to hold full grown cats upon it, accidents do happen and a cat can get lost and freeze to death. The biggest draw to this land is the biggest prey. Mammoths feed on the tiny grasses and trees hidden under the snow.

The Mountains
Both east and west of the valley, the mountains require sharp eyes to navigate them. Not because it is particularly difficult, but because the territory itself is treacherous the further up you go. Most do their hunting at ground level, but there's something to be said for hunting in and around the caves that dot the mountain sides.
Possible Claims: none
The Forest
A dark, shadowy place, the forest hides many secrets. Only the bravest cats enter these lands and come out with all four limbs in tact. It's not the best idea to travel alone here, but try telling that to the young cats out to prove themselves. As with the mountains, the caves here provide that extra amount of shade, should it not be dark enough already.
Possible Claims: none
The Valley
Nestled in the center of the mountain range and just north of the forest is the valley. Its open spaces and ready water supply draw a vast plethora of prey, and just as vast array of predators. Many a life has been lost in trying to claim this territory for their own. It has yet to be fully claimed, but some loners hold tight to any scrap of land they can get.
Possible Claims: none
The Seaside
Far different from the valley, the seaside is generally ignored by most cats. The few that do venture here in search of food enjoy yummy seafood in the way of fish, dolphins, and various other creatures that get washed onto the rocky shore. The land goes unclaimed and rarely fought for, if at all, because of its narrow hunting grounds.
Possible Claims: none
The Marsh
As with the seaside, the marsh has little value for cats who don't enjoy getting their paws wet. However, the hunting is vastly different here. The fish are plentiful, but occasionally the land is greeted by herds of thirsty animals stopping for a drink during their migrations. The land here is very accommodating for those who can adapt to its peculiar ways.
Possible Claims: none
The Hills
Rocky and jagged, the open space of this land brings many cats into a false sense of security. Experienced cats known the dangers of this area well enough, but try telling that to some young welp out to prove his metal to no one in particular. Venomous reptiles hide in the shadows at night, waiting for unsuspecting prey and on the lookout for bigger predators to poison.
Possible Claims: none
The Plains
The most forgiving of lands, the only real threat in the plains comes from above. Large birds of prey enjoy nothing more than bringing down young cats and eliminating the competition at its source. The tall grass hides expert hunters from the eyes of prey, but the occasional clearing brings them back into light, so it's best to know your surroundings before the hunt.
